Maine ad legend Jack Havey asked me to design the cover of his memoir. When I inquired as to what he had In mind, he said, "Whatever you come up with, Buddy. Published by Downeast Publications

Similarly, when I heard that a classmate was writing a book about our gilded generation, I applied the same photo-memorabilia technique to Charlie's book. Self-published an Amazon Books

A small group of us came up with this idea over lunch. Most good ideas hatch over lunch. Beyond some initial skepticism, the book was an overwhelming success and helped renovate the library's Children's Room. As a new grandfather at the time, I was quite proud of that. It's not a cherished "collector's item".

A small "gift" book I initially created for my granddaughter's graduation. We distributed digital copies to neighbors at the onset of the Covid pandemic when we were all sequestered. pandemic - as moral support during these trying times. Hopefully, It'll find a publisher. Everyday in America, someone "takes a big step" and needs support and encouragement. This book would be a way to say; "Good luck - go for it!" Some of the imagery in the book is mine own. Other images are royalty-free, purchased, or used by permission.
