Some fun stuff

If a bit of fun could not be had now and then, what's the point of life? Someone once told me I should have been a writer for SNL (Saturday Night Live). Nice compliment - but way past my bedtime. Rather, I've settled for wedding and birth announcements, a poster or some other gag. To wit:

I played in a struggling band but quit for more secure, lucrative work in design. It also promised tons of screaming fans and a guest shot on Ed Sullivan. I insisted they air-brush my picture out of this original album cover. The lads went on to do well.
What's a wedding without refreshments?
Hallmark also rejected this charming Christmas card concept explained why angels are so cheerful and happy around the holidays.
Once I started to make the big bucks, a slight gambling problem ensued. I was forced to go out on the street. You can bet the farm that's all behind me now!
Sadly, several rejected high school reunion invite ideas.
Having had the pleasure of working with the Wrigley/Offield families out on Catalina Island, this birth announcement seemed appropriate.
